Batmobile nosedives at auction, fetches mere $297,000

Holy Batman!
1995 batman forever batmobile

Finally, the hype surrounding the auction of 1995 Batman Forever Batmobile comes to an end. And let me add that the end was not a pleasant one, as the Batmobile was sold for less than half the reserve price. The highly-revered Batmobile was sold last week at the Al Wiseman Collection through RM Auctions. The auctioneers were quiet confident and estimated the lot to sell for anything between $600,000 to $800,000, but their calculations failed miserably and the Batmobile was sold at a meagre price of $297,000. It was also a great setback for Warner Brothers who were expecting a huge crowd of enthusiasts. The real reason for this flop show was the hilarious purchase agreement that imposed a long list of restrictions pertaining to the use of the purchased Batmobile. Apart from the lesser restrictions, the agreement boldly says that the Batmobile cannot be driven anywhere in public. Well, that ends the whole story. The 1995 Batman Forever Batmobile is nothing more than a lifesize toy equipped with a Chevrolet V8 engine.

World’s Most Expensive Christmas Cocktail At $71,011 A Glass!

Ouch imagine spilling this?…

most expensive wine

You sure must’ve spent a grand deal on drinks, but what you might witness today will prove your other endeavors as peanuts! The London nightclub is all geared up to unveil the world’s most expensive Christmas cocktail that will cost a crashing $71,011 a glass. The Movida nightclub, which is a haven for celebrities, soccer stars and the uber-rich, has gladly taken a limited number of orders for the pricey drink, dubbed as Flawless. A liberal amount of Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, little brown sugar, angostura bitters, and a few flakes of 24-carat edible gold leaf, blend together to form the luxurious cocktail. Described as a warming and refreshing drink, it owns its grand cost to an 11-carat white diamond ring settled at the bottom of the crystal glass. A thing like this invites security no doubt, which will be taken care of by two security guards, who will watch over the clients table until they have savored the entire drink. While the customers relish their delicacy, they will be treated to a floor show, besides getting the attention of the entire bar members!
