YG Acoustics Voyager speakers are meant for a few

acoustics-voyager_48

The long list of luxury speakers continues to mount with the entry of YG Acoustics Voyager speakers. But wait, you can?t lay your hands on these cast aluminum speakets until and unless you are a celebrated personality in the entertainment industry, the reason being the multitude of trade-secrets and the next-generation technologies employed in the Voyager as claimed by the company. What technology they are talking about? Anyway, the Voyager speakers tout YG Acoustics specialty that accounts for an astonishing soundstage, which is often associated only with a single-driver loudspeakers. The YG Acoustics Voyager speakers will set you back (oh sorry, not you but the music and film “industry leaders”) a whopping $100,000.

The $200K Alexandria loudspeakers don’t even look like speakers

wilson-audio-alexandria_48

Wilson Audio has earned itself a name as one of the top luxury speakers? manufacturers. The new Wilson Audio Alexandria Loudspeakers do deserve a place in the list of top 10 luxury speakers with its whopping price tag of $200,000 and an inimitable make. The uncanny looks of the loudspeakers somehow resembles the leg of a Transformer. The loudspeaker uses upper frequency driver modules that adjust linearly to optimize time alignment while each of the modules rotate on its polar axis to pull off optimal driver dispersion for multiple listening positions. With the manufacturers popping out luxury speakers like rabbit popping out bunnies, I think I will have to make another list of top 10 luxury speakers very soon.

Leather iPod Case Doubles As Kickstand

kickstand ipod cases

By David Ponce

In an interesting bit of design ingenuity, the Brenthaven iPod flip case protects everyone’s favorite digital music player from the elements, while at the same time doubling as a kickstand. The suede-lined case made of Napa leather features a specially sized slot on the back, into which you insert your player so it stands upright. You’re then free to watch your videos comfortably, without having to carry around a separate stand for it, or trying to balance the player between paperweights.

Best of all, it’s only $25.
