Spyker – The car Jet Li drove in the movie War

War

Just got done watching the movie War with Jet Li and Jason Statham. Did I enjoy the movie? YEA! What’s not to like? Fighting, shooting, guns, all kinds of guns, gangsters killing each other.. and CARS! It doesn’t take much to make me like a movie, as long as the plot is not too wacky, and there’re planty of action, gadgets and cars to keep me entertained, I’m happy.

Anyways, back to the cars. I was just drooling over the car that Jet Li was driving. Of course as soon as the movie was done.. I was Googling for more infor about it.

Tell me this does not make you wet! Hello.. Spyker C8 Spyder SWBSpyker1

Spyker2

This baby has 400 hourses under those curves and a top speed of 187 MPH! Unless there were some special effects added to the movie, it purrrrred like a wildcat coming at ya!

Spyker3

If you want to buy one it’ll cost you about 300,000 Euros (convert that yourself).
If you want to gawk at The Spyker a little more, visit Spykercars or watch the video I found on

Naveen:

verbier
The £5,000 cocktail, the £50,000-a-week chalet and the £500,000 impulse purchase! This is what Coco Club, the first luxury VIP club in the Alps, in the glamorous Swiss ski resort of Verbier is offering to the guests from round the globe this season. Verbier has become Russian oligarchs’ playground where they spend, spend, and simply spend. The place has been billed as one of the most expensive in the Alps and on the earth. The club’s wallpaper is hand-painted, curtains are fur and one of the walls is covered in £30,000 worth of gold leaf. Although, the temperature outside is freezing at minus 12, but it’s baking hot inside. The cheapest champagne costs more than £100 a bottle while the most expensive demands nearly £11,000. Princes William and Harry are regulars at the club’s Colin Barber’s bar. Hugh Grant, Jemima Khan, Victoria Beckham and Jamie Oliver are all regular visitors.

‘Rolls-Royce’ of rare stamps fetches $825,000

Naveen:

jenny stampA New York man paid a whopping US $825,000 for one of the most prominently flawed stamps in U.S. history. The rare 1918 24-cent stamp shows an upside-down Curtis JN-4 biplane known as Jenny, a World War I training aircraft that became an airmail plane. The man who bought this rare stamp slightly cheaper than the record price, which another ‘Inverted Jenny’ copy fetched at auction last month, is a Wall Street executive who doesn’t want to disclose his identity. Anyway, Heritage Auction Galleries president Greg Rohan cited that the man is the same collector who lost the auction last month when ‘Inverted Jenny’ copy went for $977,500. The mint condition red, white and blue stamp is said to be one of the finest known existing stamps from the original sheet of 100 misprints. Randy Shoemaker, founder of Professional Stamp Experts, refers to this rare stamp as Rolls Royce of all stamps.
